CSU San Marcos
UNLV belongs to the Western Women’s Lacrosse League, which is an association of women’s collegiate club teams in Arizona, California, and Nevada. Specifically, UNLV is in the Division II Central Region along with 5 other teams, leaving the rest of the DII teams in the North and South making a 16 team Division. The WWLL also has a DI conference and B Division. A championship tournament at the end of the season determines the winners from each Division, gaining an automatically qualifier for the WCLA National Championship Tournament. UNLV were the DII South Champions in 2012, earning an AQ.
League Structure - Division II
UNLV belongs to the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse Association which is part of the larger nationwide league US Lacrosse. The WCLA is comprised of Division I and Division 2 teams spanning the entire United States. Every year they host a national tournament that is comprised of all teams that have won in their respective home leagues.
